Practice Owner · Summit Accountants

2 July 2024

Accounting · 1–10 employees South Africa Used for 2+ years

Mostly smooth, occasionally frustrating

Based in Nelspruit, serving clients across Mpumalanga. It integrates with the Pastel and Sage ledgers our clients already run. The learning curve is steep, a new clerk needs weeks before they are productive.

Cons

Quote based licensing.

Pros

The profession already knows it; structured audit methodology; consolidations handled.

Cons

Template setup takes effort.

Good, with a few honest gripes

Trial balances import and map so we stop rekeying figures from the client's books. It is powerful but the interface is dense and not modern. Watching the annual price though.

Cons

Steep learning curve; quote based licensing.
