It costs the firm nothing, which still feels strange to type about software this useful. Our whole team works in the same client file simultaneously during busy season. The practice management layer tracks work without us paying for a separate tool. The tooling respects accountants, which is rarer than it should be.

Work assignments mean I always know which junior owns which client this week. Training materials are current, free and structured enough to onboard staff with. Recommended to every colleague who asks, and they all ask eventually.

QuickBooks Ledger finally gave us a home for the dormant companies and family trusts that never justified a full subscription. The Find an Advisor listing has sent us a handful of genuine leads. Ledger costs a fraction of a full subscription and is exactly enough for an entity with thirty transactions a year.
