Very good for the price, as long as you accept what the entry plan is. There is no bill management, so supplier invoices still live in my inbox.

It gets a solid four from me, the missing pieces keep the fifth star. The chart of accounts cap at 250 sounds like plenty until your accountant starts restructuring. Receipt capture reads the slip and fills in the amount and supplier on its own.

Accountant access being free meant my tax practitioner just logged in and sorted my first VAT return with me. Quotes convert to invoices with one tap and clients pay against them directly. The 30 day trial needs no card, so there was zero risk in trying it properly. For a sole trader I honestly cannot think of better value.

It does the basics really well and stops abruptly after the basics. The bank feed disconnects every few weeks and reconnecting means redoing the bank login dance.

Quoting on site from the app has won me jobs, clients notice the speed. The 30 day trial needs no card, so there was zero risk in trying it properly. My Standard Bank feed has been steady, transactions appear the next morning without fail. It made me look bigger than I am, and that wins work.

The core is lovely, the limits are firm. VAT setup needed my accountant's help, the defaults are not South African out of the box. The reports are basic but they tell me the two things I care about: what I made and who still owes me.
