Invoices go out looking professional and the payment links get us paid noticeably faster. The custom reports run themselves on schedule and land in the right inboxes. Our finance function grew up on this software.

Mixed feelings after 4 years

We like it a great deal and grumble about it regularly. Some terminology stays stubbornly American, sales tax where VAT should be. The accountant access is free and our accountant already knew the product well.

Excellent software wearing a few American assumptions. Support quality swings between excellent and script reading, you get what the queue gives you. The custom reports run themselves on schedule and land in the right inboxes.

QuickBooks earned its place in our Knysna office

My accountant works directly in our file every month, and the collaboration is seamless. Every update just appears, no version upgrades, no reinstalls, no consultants. It scaled from two of us to a proper finance function without changing systems. The polish is worth paying for. Recommended.

Working well for our 8 person team

Our bookkeeper cut her monthly hours on our file almost in half after the switch. Automatic invoice reminders recovered debtors we had mentally written off.

Excellent software wearing a few American assumptions. The VAT configuration needed our accountant's help, the defaults are not South African. The feed needs reauthenticating every few months, always discovered at a bad time.
