The app ecosystem seals the deal

The product deserves five stars, the SA experience takes one back. The feed needs reauthenticating every few months, always discovered at a bad time.

Mixed feelings after 2 years

The product deserves five stars, the SA experience takes one back. The VAT configuration needed our accountant's help, the defaults are not South African. The accountant access is free and our accountant already knew the product well.

Happy customer in Gqeberha

Moved off desktop software in May and within a quarter our month end shrank by a week. Every update just appears, no version upgrades, no reinstalls, no consultants. Project and class tracking gave us margin visibility we never had on desktop. Five years from now I expect we will still be here.

Support failed us at the two moments that mattered most. The Nedbank feed dropped in July and support treated it as routine.

After the third price increase we did the maths and left. We needed a VAT201 layout and built it ourselves in Excel every period.

The interface is the best in the category and that matters more than people admit, because staff actually use it. Quotes, invoices and statements all carry our branding properly.

Excellent software wearing a few American assumptions. Some terminology stays stubbornly American, sales tax where VAT should be. Project and class tracking gave us margin visibility we never had on desktop.

Exactly what our 6 person business needed

We compared everything on the market and QuickBooks won on reporting alone. Automatic invoice reminders recovered debtors we had mentally written off.

Rand pricing made it an easy yes

The core experience is superb, the periphery is patchy. There is no local payroll, so we pair it with a SA payroll product and post journals across. The mobile app is a proper working tool, not a brochure version of the desktop.

Good decision for a 40 person company

We connected our online store and the sales flow straight into the books. Support chat resolved our setup questions quickly in the first month. Month end became a checklist instead of an expedition. For reporting depth alone it earns its subscription.
