18 November 2025

Manufacturing · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 6–12 months

Good but not perfect for our Durban team

Strong where it matters, dated where it shows. The interface is industrial, younger staff take time to warm to it.

Pros

Training academy for staff pipeline; recall grade lot and serial traceability

Cons

Mobile experience is functional only

Logistics · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 6–12 months

Decent fit for a 60 person company

Right tool for our plant, with honest overheads. Reporting beyond operations leans on Power BI or partners.

Pros

Recall grade lot and serial traceability; partner channel with industry mileage

Cons

Office side modules feel secondary

Our Worcester office gave up on it

The partner relationship costs like a department.

Cons

Wholesale · 11–50 employees South Africa Used for 2+ years

Serving our Gqeberha operation well

Shop floor capture killed the paper travellers and the arguments they caused. The training academy meant our new planner arrived already competent. Power BI reads the SQL base directly for the analytics crowd. For SA manufacturers this is the serious local answer.

Pros

Shop floor capture kills paper

Agriculture South Africa Used for Less than 6 months

Our accountant in Randburg recommended it, good call

Bill of materials revisions finally match what engineering actually builds. The scheduling board shows the floor what reality allows, not what sales dreamed.

Pros

Shop floor capture kills paper

Mining · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 2+ years

Our accountant in Mossel Bay recommended it, good call

The upgrade from our legacy system preserved a decade of history. Warehouse management keeps our two DCs honest to the unit. WIP tracking ended the month end guess about half finished stock. Forty years of listening to plants like ours shows.

Pros

SQL base open to Power BI

Cons

Module licensing needs careful scoping

Good but not perfect for our Centurion team

Strong where it matters, dated where it shows. Licensing by module needs careful scoping up front. Quality holds stop suspect batches from shipping automatically.

Agriculture · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 1–2 years

Good but not perfect for our Bloemfontein team

A deep manufacturing system that dresses for the factory, not the boardroom. The mobile story is functional rather than modern. The training academy meant our new planner arrived already competent.

Pros

SQL base open to Power BI; shop floor capture kills paper

Cons

Upgrades are projects

Mining · 201–500 employees South Africa Used for 2+ years

Working well for our 420 person team

The local pedigree matters: our feature request reached people who could ship it. Serial and lot tracking runs from receipt to dispatch without gaps. WIP tracking ended the month end guess about half finished stock.

Pros

Shop floor capture kills paper; import costing for weak rand realities

Cons

Customisations complicate upgrades

Logistics · 201–500 employees South Africa Used for 2+ years

Decent fit for a 260 person company

A deep manufacturing system that dresses for the factory, not the boardroom. The interface is industrial, younger staff take time to warm to it. The mobile story is functional rather than modern.

Our accountant in Benoni recommended it, good call

As a food producer, the batch records satisfied the auditors without theatre. Quality holds stop suspect batches from shipping automatically.

Our 110 user plant runs on it end to end

After 8 years we respect it deeply and curse it occasionally. Customisations serve us well and complicate every upgrade. The training academy meant our new planner arrived already competent.

Pros

Import costing for weak rand realities

Cons

Customisations complicate upgrades

Mining · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 6–12 months

Good but not perfect for our Springs team

Strong where it matters, dated where it shows. Licensing by module needs careful scoping up front. VAT and statutory reporting come out locally correct by default.

Cons

Upgrades are projects

Production scheduling we actually follow

It rewards investment and punishes casual adoption. Office side functions like CRM feel like guests in a factory system.

Pros

SQL base open to Power BI

3 December 2024

Mining · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 6–12 months

Not what we hoped for our Polokwane business

We were too light a user for a system this serious. Simple office workflows needed floor grade configuration effort. The upgrade broke customisations that took a quarter to rebuild.

Cons

Too heavy for light users

Solid choice for our George business

The upgrade from our legacy system preserved a decade of history. Warehouse management keeps our two DCs honest to the unit. Our factory would not run without it, simple as that.
