Wholesale · 201–500 employees South Africa Used for 2+ years

Our accountant in Vanderbijlpark recommended it, good call

MRP suggestions respect our lead times and the weak rand on imported inputs. Serial and lot tracking runs from receipt to dispatch without gaps. For SA manufacturers this is the serious local answer.

Agriculture · 11–50 employees South Africa Used for 2+ years

A quiet workhorse for 3 years now

The lot traceability took us through a product recall in hours instead of weeks. Warehouse management keeps our two DCs honest to the unit. Forty years of listening to plants like ours shows.

Pros

Shop floor capture kills paper; native SA VAT and statutory layer

Cons

Office side modules feel secondary

Exactly what our 300 person business needed

Our plant outside Sandton runs planning, floor capture and dispatch on it daily. Warehouse management keeps our two DCs honest to the unit. Power BI reads the SQL base directly for the analytics crowd.

Our Stellenbosch office gave up on it

Modern UX expectations meet a system with heritage, repeatedly. Simple office workflows needed floor grade configuration effort.

Cons

Too heavy for light users. Upgrade broke customisations for a quarter

Food & Beverage · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 6–12 months

Decent fit for a 130 person company

The capability is real and so is the learning curve. The mobile story is functional rather than modern.

Pros

Native SA VAT and statutory layer; sQL base open to Power BI

Cons

Industrial interface, real learning curve

Stock takes stopped being fiction

Shop floor capture killed the paper travellers and the arguments they caused. Financials sit native, no interface file between the floor and the ledger. For SA manufacturers this is the serious local answer.

Pros

Manufacturing depth from MRP to dispatch; recall grade lot and serial traceability

Manufacturing · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 6–12 months

Decent fit for a 95 person company

Right tool for our plant, with honest overheads. The interface is industrial, younger staff take time to warm to it. WIP tracking ended the month end guess about half finished stock.

Pros

Training academy for staff pipeline

Cons

Industrial interface, real learning curve

Agriculture · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 2+ years

A quiet workhorse for 8 years now

After 8 years the system knows our factory better than some of our staff. Import costing spreads duties and freight properly across landed stock. It speaks factory, which imported ERPs mostly do not.

Pros

Recall grade lot and serial traceability

Mostly happy in Klerksdorp, a few gripes

A deep manufacturing system that dresses for the factory, not the boardroom. The interface is industrial, younger staff take time to warm to it. Financials sit native, no interface file between the floor and the ledger.

Pros

Native SA VAT and statutory layer

Cons

Upgrades are projects

Solid choice for our Roodepoort business

Our implementation partner has done our industry three times before us. Import costing spreads duties and freight properly across landed stock. VAT and statutory reporting come out locally correct by default.
