Good software with an identity somewhere between accounting package and junior ERP. Revenue recognition works for simple schedules and gets fiddly past that.

Good but not perfect for our Cape Town team

It solved our reporting problem and introduced a budgeting one. Reports are superb, dashboards less so. Priority support at this tier actually answers with knowledge rather than articles.

We use maybe half of it well, and that half is excellent. Revenue recognition works for simple schedules and gets fiddly past that.

Our Bloemfontein office gave up on it

The gap between the US product and what reaches South Africa is widest at this level. Two features from the sales demo turned out to be unavailable in our region. Nobody at support could explain the revenue recognition behaviour we were seeing.

Working well for our 70 person team

We moved a 70 person company off a creaking ERP and onto Advanced, and the monthly saving is embarrassing. Priority support at this tier actually answers with knowledge rather than articles. Worth it for the report builder alone.

Unlimited chart of accounts, classes and locations; workflow automation a finance team can build

It does most of what it promises, though not all of it speaks South African yet. The seat count is generous but we use eleven of the twenty five and pay for all of them. Priority support at this tier actually answers with knowledge rather than articles.

Our 110 person company finally fits in one system

After 3 years on it the verdict is positive with footnotes. The seat count is generous but we use eleven of the twenty five and pay for all of them. Custom roles took an afternoon to design and have prevented every permissions argument since.

The automation promised simplicity and delivered a hobby. The price difference against Plus bought us features we opened twice.

Exactly what our 28 person business needed

Approvals used to be email threads, now they are workflows with an audit trail. Performance stays snappy even with our transaction volumes, which Plus was starting to feel. The right ceiling for a growing SA business that is not ready for SAP money.

Good decision for a 25 person company

Batch invoicing pushed out four hundred invoices in the time the old way did forty. Priority support at this tier actually answers with knowledge rather than articles. The workflow builder is genuinely usable by a finance person, no consultant needed. Worth it for the report builder alone.

Exactly what our 75 person business needed

The two way Excel sync lets our finance manager live in spreadsheets while the books stay the single source of truth. Custom roles took an afternoon to design and have prevented every permissions argument since. The Finance AI summaries give our MD a weekly picture without anyone building it. The top tier is the first tier that feels built for companies our size.
