Decent fit for a 35 person company

Good software with an identity somewhere between accounting package and junior ERP. Reports are superb, dashboards less so. The backup and restore alone justifies the tier if your data matters to you.

A year in, we audited what we actually used and downgraded. The price difference against Plus bought us features we opened twice.

Excel sync made our finance manager emotional

A genuinely capable tier that makes you pay for every bit of that capability. Some Advanced features clearly ship for the US first and arrive here months later. Unlimited chart of accounts meant our group structure finally fitted properly.

No complaints after 2 years

The revenue recognition handles our annual contracts without the deferred income spreadsheet. Unlimited chart of accounts meant our group structure finally fitted properly. The right ceiling for a growing SA business that is not ready for SAP money.

Doing okay for our 30 person setup

It solved our reporting problem and introduced a budgeting one. Support at this tier is better, but complex questions still bounce between agents. Our auditors pulled what they needed from the custom reports without a single request to us.

Powerful, and priced like it knows it. The workflow builder is powerful once you learn its logic, and its logic takes learning.

Doing the job for us in Centurion

Batch invoicing pushed out four hundred invoices in the time the old way did forty. Priority support at this tier actually answers with knowledge rather than articles. Recommended, provided you will genuinely use the automation.

For this price the rough edges are inexcusable.

Mixed feelings after 2 years

It does most of what it promises, though not all of it speaks South African yet. A few of the AI features are still labelled beta and behave like it.

Unlimited chart of accounts, classes and locations; fraction of the cost of a real ERP

Good software with an identity somewhere between accounting package and junior ERP. Some Advanced features clearly ship for the US first and arrive here months later. Performance stays snappy even with our transaction volumes, which Plus was starting to feel.

Frustrating experience for our 420 person team

Advanced solves problems we turned out not to have. Batch invoicing failed on our VAT setup and the fix took three weeks of tickets.
