Good but not perfect for our Paarl team

It does projects brilliantly and inventory adequately. The project reports are good but you cannot customise them much at this tier.

Pros

VAT correct through stock and projects

Cons

Only four custom fields

Good but not perfect for our Benoni team

The features are all here, some are deeper than others. Custom fields are limited to four, which our workshop filled immediately. Project reports show labour, materials and overheads against each job while it runs.

Cons

Feed hiccups mean manual stock matching

Solid choice for our Somerset West business

We quote projects, track costs against them and invoice from the same screen. Low stock alerts are set per item and they fire early enough to reorder in time. Budgets against actuals per class made our monthly management meeting actually useful. Value for money is the best in the whole lineup.

Our accountant in Randburg recommended it, good call

Five user seats meant the whole admin team finally works in one system. Our margins have never been this visible.

Pros

Class and location tracking for branches; vAT correct through stock and projects

Class tracking gave each branch its own story

The upgrade from Essentials paid for itself the first month when a job we thought was profitable turned out not to be. Budgets against actuals per class made our monthly management meeting actually useful. Five stars, and I do not hand those out easily.

Pros

Handles agency, workshop and retail patterns; customer AI resurfaces quiet leads

Our margins stopped being a year end mystery

The favourite tier badge on the pricing page is accurate, this is the plan that fits real businesses. The five seats each carry their own permissions, so the sales guy sees sales and nothing else. Class and location tracking up to forty covers our branches with room to spare.

Pros

Low stock alerts that fire in time; budgets against actuals per division

Doing okay for our 70 person setup

Very capable software that asks for a proper setup effort first. Custom fields are limited to four, which our workshop filled immediately. Purchase orders convert to bills when the stock arrives, one flow from order to payment.

Cons

Class tracking capped at forty

Happy customer in Mbombela

We run a 12 person agency and project profitability is the reason we can price with confidence. The five seats each carry their own permissions, so the sales guy sees sales and nothing else.

Our Stellenbosch office gave up on it

Support knows invoicing well and inventory barely. The forty class limit forced us to flatten our reporting structure.

Cons

Stock counts drifted without explanation

Inventory counts drifted and support shrugged

We pushed it past its comfort zone and it pushed back. No serial number tracking meant warranty claims stayed a paper exercise.

Cons

No serial tracking for warranty work

Strong tier that flirts with complexity

It does projects brilliantly and inventory adequately. Inventory has no serial numbers, no batches and no multiple warehouses, know that going in. The jump in capability over Essentials is far bigger than the jump in price.

Pros

Five user seats with real permissions

Cons

Only four custom fields

Mostly happy in East London, a few gripes

Excellent plan overall with a couple of honest limitations. Reporting at this tier is genuinely strong, profit by project, by class, by location, by month.

Pros

Five user seats with real permissions; low stock alerts that fire in time

Cons

Feed hiccups mean manual stock matching

Good decision for a 45 person company

I manage 60 active projects at any time and each one shows its own profit line. The five seats each carry their own permissions, so the sales guy sees sales and nothing else. The favourite plan for a reason. Recommended without reservation.

Pros

Project profitability visible while jobs run

Cons

Some stock workflows assume US tax

Doing okay for our 45 person setup

For our size it is right, though I can see where it ends. Class tracking capped at forty sounds fine until you get creative with divisions. Low stock alerts are set per item and they fire early enough to reorder in time.

Pros

Big capability jump for a modest price step

Cons

Feed hiccups mean manual stock matching

Doing the job for us in Roodepoort

We build kitchen cabinets and for the first time I know the margin per job while the job is still open. Budgets against actuals per class made our monthly management meeting actually useful. Class and location tracking up to forty covers our branches with room to spare. Five stars, and I do not hand those out easily.

Expected better, Knysna customer

The setup dragged on and the promised payoff arrived late and partial. The forty class limit forced us to flatten our reporting structure.

Cons

Stock counts drifted without explanation. Inventory support knowledge is shallow
