Exactly what our 130 person business needed

As a small importer in Johannesburg, the inventory tracking does exactly what our size of operation needs. Low stock alerts are set per item and they fire early enough to reorder in time. Everything the sales rep quotes on the road is visible to the office in real time. This is the plan QuickBooks should lead with in South Africa.

Expected better, Klerksdorp customer

Stock accuracy problems ate the time the software was meant to save. The forty class limit forced us to flatten our reporting structure.

Cons

Inventory support knowledge is shallow. Stock counts drifted without explanation

A quiet workhorse for 3 years now

The upgrade from Essentials paid for itself the first month when a job we thought was profitable turned out not to be. Class and location tracking up to forty covers our branches with room to spare. The favourite plan for a reason. Recommended without reservation.

Doing the job for us in Ballito

After 6 years on this plan I still have not found the thing it cannot handle at our size. Inventory quantities stay honest because every sale and purchase moves the count automatically. Low stock alerts are set per item and they fire early enough to reorder in time. Value for money is the best in the whole lineup.

Purchase orders to our suppliers now come out of the system instead of WhatsApp messages. Budgets against actuals per class made our monthly management meeting actually useful.

The plan our Kimberley agency should have started on

Great tier, though the total cost creeps up on you. The project reports are good but you cannot customise them much at this tier. Our Standard Bank feed feeds all of it, and reconciling takes minutes.

Good but not perfect for our Richards Bay team

Very capable software that asks for a proper setup effort first. The project reports are good but you cannot customise them much at this tier.

The class tracking lets us report our consulting and training divisions separately from one set of books. Project reports show labour, materials and overheads against each job while it runs.

Happy customer in Mossel Bay

Five user seats meant the whole admin team finally works in one system. The jump in capability over Essentials is far bigger than the jump in price. Low stock alerts are set per item and they fire early enough to reorder in time.

Let us down when it counted

The setup dragged on and the promised payoff arrived late and partial. The forty class limit forced us to flatten our reporting structure. A feed outage in September left two weeks of stock purchases unmatched.

Excellent plan overall with a couple of honest limitations. Setup with opening stock balances took a full weekend and one consultation.

Solid choice for our Mbombela business

We build kitchen cabinets and for the first time I know the margin per job while the job is still open. The Customer AI surfaces leads that went quiet, and two of them became orders last quarter. VAT stays right through all of it, stock purchases, project invoicing, everything at 15%. The step up from Essentials is the best software money we spent this year.

Budgets versus actuals, finally visible

After 5 years on this plan I still have not found the thing it cannot handle at our size. For an agency or contractor it is close to perfect.
