Capable software that expects you to meet it halfway. New staff take longer to find their feet than on prettier products. The community forum has an answer for nearly everything, usually from the developers themselves.

I have used it for 7 years for my UK company and paid only the small Power User fee. Reports cover the accounts an accountant needs at year end. Estimates convert to invoices and the portal shows clients their whole history. Function beat fashion, we bank the difference.

My UK clients pay invoices through the portal and the payment lands tagged in the books. Underneath the plain screens is a proper double entry ledger that satisfies accountants. The tagging rules engine is genuinely clever, it handles our regular suppliers untouched.
