Overpriced for what it adds

Support turned a small setup problem into a three week saga. Part payments against dollar invoices created rounding differences our accountant had to journal away.

Our accountant in Midrand recommended it, good call

The move up from Simple Start took ten minutes and bill management justified it by the end of the week. Three users each have their own login and the audit trail shows who did what. For a service business with suppliers to pay, this is the right plan.

Doing okay for our 22 person setup

Happy with the bills side, ambivalent about the rest. No stock at this level, so our small product line lives in a spreadsheet next to it. The upgrade from Simple Start kept every scrap of history, flip a switch and the features appear.

We are a 5 person services firm and Essentials fits us like it was measured. The Standard Bank feed has behaved itself for us, next morning delivery like clockwork.

3 years in and still happy

We are a 8 person services firm and Essentials fits us like it was measured. Reports cover the essentials well: aged creditors, aged debtors, profit and loss by month. VAT at 15% flows through everything and the return figures reconcile first time. Worth every rand of the step up.

Decent fit for a 14 person company

Fine software, but the upgrade nudges toward Plus are constant. No stock at this level, so our small product line lives in a spreadsheet next to it. The bank feed needed reconnecting three times this year, always at busy moments.

Good value with an asterisk or two. Some settings pages clearly assume an American business and need translating. The Nedbank feed has behaved itself for us, next morning delivery like clockwork.

Everything my invoicing clerk captures I can review from home the same evening. Time entries land against customers so nothing billable slips through anymore.

We bill in rand and dollars and the gains and losses report keeps our accountant happy at year end. Our accountant reviews everything remotely and quarter end became a non event.
