We run our whole 6 person operation on it and the books have never been this clean. Statements go out to all customers in one run at month end. My only regret is the years I wasted on spreadsheets.

After 2 years on it I can say the product has only gotten better. The bank feed from Absa has been rock solid, maybe two hiccups in 2 years.

There is a lot to like here and a few things that need honest work. Support is friendly when you reach them but the queue can be long at month end. It handles our small stock list fine and warns us when items run low.

Started on the Start plan and moved up to Standard when we hired our first admin person. Quotes convert to invoices with one click and clients can pay straight from the invoice. Month end used to take three days and now the file is closed by lunch on the first. We will be staying put for the foreseeable future.

The everyday stuff is great. The moment you need something unusual it gets harder. Some screens take a few seconds too long to load on slow connections.

We moved our books elsewhere in July and the difference is night and day. The feed duplicated a full month of transactions and untangling it took my bookkeeper a week. Logging in during month end was painfully slow for most of January.

Quotes go out from my phone while I am still standing at the client. The audit trail saved us in a SARS verification, every figure traced back cleanly. For the price I honestly cannot fault it.

Our practice put all our small clients on it and the feedback has been consistently good. It does what the brochure says, which is rarer than it should be.

Solid for invoicing and VAT, less convincing once stock gets involved. Report customisation is limited, you get their layouts and that is that. The stock module covers the basics but anything detailed means exporting to Excel.

I capture supplier invoices the day they arrive and cash flow finally makes sense. The eFiling numbers and the system numbers agree to the cent every single period. Once the customer list was imported the rest of setup was quick. We will be staying put for the foreseeable future.

The trial convinced me inside a week, mostly because of the bank feeds. It handles our small stock list fine and warns us when items run low. The 30 day trial costs you nothing, start there like I did.

We came off desktop Pastel and the move was far less painful than I feared. Debtors reports show me exactly who owes what before I make the awkward phone calls. Our auditors work in the file directly at year end so the handover schlep is gone.
