The price in rand, billed in rand, with support in our time zone. That matters. I photograph slips with the phone app and the capture is surprisingly accurate. The bank feed from FNB has been rock solid, maybe two hiccups in 2 years. My only regret is the years I wasted on spreadsheets.

As a Vereeniging based business we wanted something local and this delivered. Recurring invoices run themselves on the first of the month, I do not touch them. It handles our small stock list fine and warns us when items run low.

Solid for invoicing and VAT, less convincing once stock gets involved. I wish budgeting was built in properly instead of feeling like an afterthought. Everything syncs to the cloud so load shedding at the office just means I work from home.

We invoice about 180 clients a month and the debtors list keeps itself tidy. Our auditors work in the file directly at year end so the handover schlep is gone. It just quietly does its job, which is all I ask of software.

For a small trades business in Stellenbosch this hits exactly the right level. Payroll journals come across from Sage Payroll on their own, nothing to capture twice. If you are a small business still doing manual books, just make the jump.

It was the accountant access that sold me, she works in the same file I do. Every plumber, sparky and consultant I know gets the same advice from me now.

Four stars because the core is excellent and the extras are not. The bank feed dropped for about a week in June and I had to import statements manually.
