Lindiwe Pillay

Financial Manager · Horizon Manufacturing Supplies

14 December 2025

Manufacturing · 51–200 employees South Africa Used for 6–12 months

Good but not perfect for our Sandton team

Strong where it matters, dated where it shows. The mobile story is functional rather than modern. Licensing by module needs careful scoping up front.

Pros

Job costing that tells the truth; recall grade lot and serial traceability

Cons

Module licensing needs careful scoping

Production Manager

3 July 2025

Construction · 500+ employees South Africa Used for 1–2 years

Our 750 user plant runs on it end to end

Job costing showed us which product lines actually earn their floor space. The scheduling board shows the floor what reality allows, not what sales dreamed. It speaks factory, which imported ERPs mostly do not.

Pros

Recall grade lot and serial traceability

Food & Beverage South Africa Used for 2+ years

Traceability that survived a real recall

Our implementation partner has done our industry three times before us. WIP tracking ended the month end guess about half finished stock. The proudly South African label is earned in the product.

Pros

Shop floor capture kills paper

Cons

Mobile experience is functional only

Food & Beverage · 201–500 employees South Africa Used for 2+ years

Our accountant in Klerksdorp recommended it, good call

The lot traceability took us through a product recall in hours instead of weeks. Warehouse management keeps our two DCs honest to the unit. Import costing spreads duties and freight properly across landed stock. For SA manufacturers this is the serious local answer.

Job costing that tells the truth

South African ERP running our factory properly

Frustrating experience for our 70 person team

The partner relationship costs like a department. Our graduates compared it unkindly to everything they knew.

Supply Chain Manager

12 October 2025

Construction · 500+ employees South Africa Used for 6–12 months

Working well for our 600 person team

MRP suggestions respect our lead times and the weak rand on imported inputs. VAT and statutory reporting come out locally correct by default. Recommended to every manufacturer who asks, and they ask.

Cons

Office side modules feel secondary

Our accountant in Richards Bay recommended it, good call

Our implementation partner has done our industry three times before us. Financials sit native, no interface file between the floor and the ledger. Import costing spreads duties and freight properly across landed stock. For SA manufacturers this is the serious local answer.

Solid choice for our Johannesburg business

Bill of materials revisions finally match what engineering actually builds. WIP tracking ended the month end guess about half finished stock. The training academy meant our new planner arrived already competent.
