Good but not perfect for our Centurion team

Came from Xero for the local support and it has been a fair trade. Price increases have come through every year, still fair but the trend worries me. The dashboard tells me the bank balance, who owes me and what I owe, all on one screen.

Report layouts cannot really be customised

Happy customer in Vereeniging

Mostly a good experience over the past 8 years, with some frustrations. Multi currency costs extra, which stung when we landed our first Namibian client. Once the customer list was imported the rest of setup was quick.

The Standard Bank feed changed my Monday mornings

We are happy on it for the basics but we have started bumping into its ceiling. Some screens take a few seconds too long to load on slow connections. It flagged a duplicate supplier invoice last month and paid for itself right there.

Recurring invoices and statements run themselves; bank feeds from the major SA banks are quick to set up

Good decision for a 6 person company

Bookkeeping used to eat my Sundays and now it takes an hour with coffee. I photograph slips with the phone app and the capture is surprisingly accurate. It just quietly does its job, which is all I ask of software.

Working well for our 45 person team

The Standard Bank bank feed pulls everything in overnight so reconciliation is just confirming matches. The Afrikaans support agent I got walked me through my first VAT return patiently. I especially rate the supplier side, capturing bills takes seconds. Every plumber, sparky and consultant I know gets the same advice from me now.

Mostly a good experience over the past 2 years, with some frustrations. Multi currency costs extra, which stung when we landed our first Namibian client. My bookkeeper logs in from her side so there is no more emailing backups around.

Decent fit for a 20 person company

The everyday stuff is great. The moment you need something unusual it gets harder. Some screens take a few seconds too long to load on slow connections. Adding my admin lady as a second user cost R75 a month, which felt fair.

We moved our books elsewhere in July and the difference is night and day. Cancelling was harder than signing up, which tells you something.

Solid choice for our Durban business

As a Durban based business we wanted something local and this delivered. Payroll journals come across from Sage Payroll on their own, nothing to capture twice. Quotes convert to invoices with one click and clients can pay straight from the invoice. SARS deadlines come and go and I hardly notice them anymore.

The Absa feed changed my Monday mornings

I run three small companies and manage all of them from one login. VAT at 15 percent is calculated on everything automatically and the return is basically ready when SARS comes knocking.
