Good but not perfect for our Pietermaritzburg team

It does most things well and a few things averagely. Multi currency costs extra, which stung when we landed our first Namibian client. The eFiling numbers and the system numbers agree to the cent every single period.

Four stars because the core is excellent and the extras are not.

Frustrating experience for our 5 person team

We moved our books elsewhere in September and the difference is night and day. Phone support kept escalating me and nobody ever phoned back.

Cons

Bank feed reliability let us down repeatedly. Price keeps climbing while the gaps stay the same

Solid choice for our Worcester business

I run three small companies and manage all of them from one login. I photograph slips with the phone app and the capture is surprisingly accurate. For the price I honestly cannot fault it.

Good decision for a 110 person company

For a small trades business in Sandton this hits exactly the right level. I especially rate the supplier side, capturing bills takes seconds. The Afrikaans support agent I got walked me through my first VAT return patiently. Would recommend it to any small business in South Africa without hesitation.

Fine until something breaks

Signed up on the strength of the reviews and regretted it within the first quarter. The stock figures and the physical count never agreed and we could not trace why.

Our Benoni office gave up on it

I wanted to like it but the last six months have been one frustration after another. Reports would not give me the one breakdown SARS asked for and I rebuilt it by hand.

Decent fit for a 45 person company

For a business our size it works, but I can see us outgrowing it. I wish budgeting was built in properly instead of feeling like an afterthought. Debtors reports show me exactly who owes what before I make the awkward phone calls.

Works fine on a tablet at the counter; dashboard gives the cash position at a glance

Our accountant in Upington recommended it, good call

Signed up during a February VAT scramble and it sorted us out properly. Support picked up within minutes the two times I actually needed them. Would recommend it to any small business in South Africa without hesitation.

Does everything my 110 person business needs

Solid for invoicing and VAT, less convincing once stock gets involved. Some screens take a few seconds too long to load on slow connections. Once the customer list was imported the rest of setup was quick.

Great fit for a small George business

Mostly a good experience over the past 2 years, with some frustrations. Support is friendly when you reach them but the queue can be long at month end. Support picked up within minutes the two times I actually needed them.

Report layouts cannot really be customised

Still glad we chose it, 7 years later

Our practice put all our small clients on it and the feedback has been consistently good. Payroll journals come across from Sage Payroll on their own, nothing to capture twice. It has genuinely given me my evenings back.

Good but not perfect for our Rustenburg team

Came from Xero for the local support and it has been a fair trade. Support is friendly when you reach them but the queue can be long at month end. Customer statements could look more professional without paying a designer.

Serving our Mbombela operation well

We run our whole 6 person operation on it and the books have never been this clean. Yoco payments reconcile against invoices without me lifting a finger. SARS deadlines come and go and I hardly notice them anymore.

Does everything my 8 person business needs

For a small trades business in eMalahleni this hits exactly the right level. The bank feed from Nedbank has been rock solid, maybe two hiccups in 7 years. The 30 day trial costs you nothing, start there like I did.

The audit trail is clean and complete

Statement templates are a bit plain
